Renovations in Sitari to Make a Newer Home Your Own
Sitari Country Estate, on the outskirts of Somerset West, is still a young community. Most homes went up after 2015 in a modern farm style, and many belong to young families who bought a well-built house and now want it to fit the way they live. Renovations in Sitari are rarely about fixing old problems. They are about adding storage, improving how rooms flow and upgrading builder-standard finishes.
Because the estate has design guidelines, any change that shows from outside needs to fit the overall look. We plan with those rules in mind from the start, so approvals go smoothly and the result sits comfortably alongside the neighbours. Sitari is a short trip from the rest of the Helderberg, so site meetings are simple to arrange.
Popular home renovations in Sitari Country Estate
Newer houses tend to be light on storage and a little generic inside. The upgrades Sitari owners ask for most are practical ones that make family life easier. We show each option in 3D so you can compare ideas before choosing, and our joinery partner Kitch Me Up makes cupboards and units to suit the modern farm-style look many homes share. First repaints and small snags left over from the original build can be dealt with during the same visit, so the house is properly finished once and for all.
- Adding a scullery or upgrading the kitchen
- Built-in bedroom cupboards and a home office
- Enclosing a covered patio with glazing for year-round use
- Upgrading bathrooms and vanities
- Extra lighting, plug points and gas hobs with compliance certificates
Working within estate guidelines
The HOA’s design guidelines cover elements like rooflines, window styles, colours and extensions, and contractors must follow the estate’s rules on access and hours. We help you prepare the drawings and information the estate needs, register our crew at the gate, and keep the site tidy throughout. Every person on our crew has passed police and security checks, which estate managers expect from anyone working behind the boom. Core Services covers plumbing, gas and electrical work, and issues Certificates of Compliance so everything is properly documented.
A practical approach for young families
Families with small children need a renovation that does not take over the house. A toddler and an open trench do not mix, and neither do afternoon naps and an angle grinder. We plan each stage so that you know which rooms are out of use and for how long, keep tools and materials secured at the end of the day, and limit noisy work to agreed hours. The owners of NPC remain involved from quotation to handover. HOW IT WORKS
After a prospective client contacts NPC, we will set up an appointment with one of our consultants at a time that is convenient to the client.
The consultant will come out to your premises to conduct a thorough site inspection. This will also give you the opportunity to discuss any pertinent details with him.
A personalised specification and quotation will be drawn up and submitted to the client for their approval. All the specifications will be based on the relevant supplier requirements.
For large projects, we can request the client’s preferred paint supplier to compile a comprehensive specification.
Upon acceptance of the quotation, a proforma invoice will be sent to the client. Among various other details, it will indicate the deposit required before the project start date can be confirmed.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do renovations in Sitari Country Estate need HOA approval?
Changes visible from outside, such as patio enclosures, new windows or extensions, usually need approval under Sitari’s design guidelines. Interior upgrades like new cupboards or a bathroom refresh are generally simpler, although estate contractor rules still apply. We help prepare drawings and 3D designs for submission and allow time for approval in the programme.
Can you enclose a patio on a Sitari home?
Yes, enclosing a covered patio with glazing is one of the most popular upgrades on the estate. It creates a usable room for most of the year without a full extension. We design the enclosure to match the house and the estate’s style guidelines, and Core Electrical can add lighting and plug points with a compliance certificate.
What upgrades add the most to a newer Sitari house?
For most families, the biggest improvements come from extra storage and better use of space: a scullery, built-in bedroom cupboards, a home office or a patio enclosure. Upgrading the kitchen or main bathroom finishes also makes a noticeable difference. We discuss your priorities at the site visit and show the options in 3D.
